Gray Whale Watching Season Begins

Our first Gray Whale of the season put on quite a show! Captain Earnesto Coleman and our expert Whale Watching Naturalists from the San Diego Natural History Museum spotted a young Gray Whale traveling south on Monday December 10 during the morning’s Whale Watching Cruise.The cooperative whale even breached and fluked, thrilling the guests onboard. Gray Whales are just beginning to migrate past the coast of San Diego. Hornblower will offer two trips daily through April 21 so that you can see these magnificent cetaceans throughout their migration.
